DESCRIPTION:This introductory webinar will help faculty and staff begin their retirement planning journey by helping them calculate how much they may need to afford to retire. We next help them develop a savings and investment plan to reach these objectives. We’ll review the importance of starting early and setting investment priorities. We will also explain some basic investment terms, tools, and the importance of using the tax deferred retirement plans offered by their employers. We’ll also explain, and consider the importance of asset allocation, the main driver of employees’ investment plans.\n
