Countdown to Retirement: 10, 5, and 1 year Away

     The workshop identifies activities that should be completed over different benchmark time periods approaching retirement. Attendees will receive a game plan for identifying tasks they need to complete as they approach retirement, including: calculating when (and if) they can afford to retire, developing a Social Security Collecting Strategy, learning the best way to pay income taxes in retirement, knowing when to sign up for Medicare, shopping for health insurance to complement Medicare, reviewing and updating their retirement plan, planning for long-term care expenses, among others.
