Retirement 201-Basics of Investing

   You may have heard the bromide, “there’s no such thing as a risk-free investment.” This workshop will help faculty and staff identify the sources of investment risks and examine the traditional methods to manage those risks. We’ll go beyond traditional asset allocation, as the usual method to manage investment risk, and consider ways to manage investment risks within asset classes as well as examine what behavioral finance can teach us about risk management.
